It is a shame when those who rise

to their profession’s highest rung

are oft exposed to scrutiny

to puerile lives when young.

 

When beyond the sophomoric years

and their  maturity is reached,

how few do not look back, find fears

 they can not have that record bleached.

{They have their claim to history,

yet fools would cause them misery.}
