The Laureate-Research

Research

Some have looked back four thousand years
to find why we now walk this path.
Some also crave to watch Big Bang
to see if God loosed good or wrath.

I feel we would be better served
if we could cure the psychopath.

The Laureate-Waste Helped Haste

Waste Helped Haste
{Florida to London Flight}

Across the pond, perhaps beyond,
with fuel they laced with waste,
Cal’s LanzaTech, with secret spec,
says process can be used posthaste.

They exploit carbon emissions
from our manufacturing sites.
Microbes and some new renditions
may be used on many flights.

We can use less of fossil fuels
if billionaires don’t mask the tools.

The Laureate-NASA's Insight

NASA’s Insight

Congratulations NASA
for landing safe on Mars!
You proved again your spacecrafts
are safer than our cars.

I really hope the Insight
can drill into the dirt.
‘Cause if it can’t, the Prez will rant...
God knows what tweet he’ll blurt.

The Laureate-EPA and Climate Change

EPA and Climate Change

When the Prez ignores all facts
and puts us all in peril,
‘tis time that we decry his acts
lest the peril becomes feral.

The Laureate-Chief Justice Roberts and The Prez.

Chief Justice Roberts and The Prez

Trump thinks a judge chose by prez
must approve what that prez says.
Where does it in our Constitution
allow gov branches have collusion?
{You swore to obey it...read it!}

The Laureate-Thanksgiving Prayer

Thanksgiving Prayer!

Oh God, who can in space deploy
the Suns and Earth and Man,
and for the food we’ll soon enjoy,
we’ll thank you best we can.

You ask but love in payment...
dear God, that is an easy task.
We know our love is heaven sent
when we do that You ask.

The Laureate-Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

For what can I be thankful
when I peruse the news?
Our world is filled with suffering
and terrorism brews.

I’m thankful I’m American,
where freedoms are assured.
I’m thankful for my kith and kin,
whose love o’er time endured.
I’m thankful for my health...
regardless how I ache.
I’m thankful God grants me a wife
who ever will our true-love slake.

The Laureate-Numb Trump's Drum

Numb Trump’s Drum

When apparent that he has won,
nothing can still his beating drum.
His ego wants our world to quake...
take care we’ve loosed a rattlesnake..

The Laureate-The Prez' Truth

The Prez’ Truth

The Prez says what press says is fake
and you should not one word partake.
So you should really read his tweets
and copy all his candid treats.
Remember what and how what’s said
and where, to whom, and why.
Was he smiling, or bursting red...
and later all deny.
Subtract all braggadocio,
he can’t remember facts.
But the truth that you need know
rarely, if ever, interacts.
Avant-garde
from the bard.

The Laureate-The Choice

The Choice

Each crisis demands a riposte...
and best from those who faced the most.
Eight years in schools for P.H.D s...
not face-to-face with enemies.

The Laureate-The Path

The Path

Few strive life-long to preach God’s word,
but kindly acts you do can teach.
Children and friends are often stirred
when tenderness is within reach.
Priests and Dervish and old Rabbi
pray that we all share that virtue.
Love fellow man...or at least try,
and you will find love follows you.
Everyone should set a goal.
God’s words have lined the path.
Wealth and power you should know
oft brings to fore internal wrath.
Keep life simple, not complex.
The well-worn paths have fewer wrecks.

The Laureate-Emotes on Votes

Emotes on Votes
{Midterm reactions}

Politicos of any hue
must honor laws that all pass too.
Should actions bode malfeasance...
incarcerate with no adieu.

The Laureate-Bad Mood, Prez?

Bad Mood, Prez?

The Prez seems in a funk.
We know he’s feeling punk
when all his tweets
are more like bleats...
and proffer no “Slam Dunk!”
{No Base embrace?}

The Laureate-Drain the Fen {Swamp}

Drain the Fen! {Swamp}

Prez promised he would drain the fen,
instead he gave the gators posts.
He put them in his White House pen...
corruption made him eject most.
{But now unclog the bog!}

The Laureate-The First Amendment-Midterm Controversy

The First Amendment
{Midterm Controversy.}

That Amendment defends free speech.
But lies that guise improbity
forswears what our forefathers preach...
they’d never sanctioned villainy.

The Laureate-The Vote Results

The Vote Results

Scores proved there’s more than Prez’s base.
All countrymen demand their space.
Their will would have all voices heard...
and clue Prez do an about-face.

The Laureate-The Russian Investigation

The Russia Investigation

For an innocent man
the Prez does all he can
to end the search for all the perps
who bade vote aid from Russia’s hand.
{Methinks he protests too much.}

The Laureate-The Midterm Vote

The Midterm Vote

Prez kept the Senate, lost the House...
yet, he still says he won the night.
He should be quiet as a mouse,
but doesn’t see his plight.

The Prez must now heed countrymen...
not just the voices of his base.
If not, next vote we meet again
and may his name efface.

The Laureate-Midterm Election

The Midterm Election

The results of the election
may prove the Prez’ many lies
can make his base win any race
with rules that he can bastardize.

The Laureate-Illegal Upheaval

Illegal Upheaval

Prez says he will send the Army,
to the border on our behalf.
But, we are not in jeopardy...
it’s his Midyear election chaff.

The Laureate-Russia, Georgia, Texas, North Dakota

Russia, Georgia, Texas, North Dakota

There is one thing that we need note
when anyone perturbs our vote,
they defy our Constitution...
must forfeit for that collusion.

Tuesday’s Vote

If you have sensed they are a fraud,
for their but false minutia laud,
know liars tend to amplify...
though Red, or Blue, their vote deny.

The Laureate-Bombs and Bullets

Bombs and Bullets

And once again more countrymen
have died by those we thought a friend.
With bomb or gun how did they fund
the weapons used for that they rend.

Did no one sense what false pretense
the perps bought arms for evil spite...
or did our Prez, by what he says,
ignite what’s now our blight?.
