The Laureate-It's a Desert!

I've lived in Tucson eighteen years.
For all that time there was a drought.
The population doubled,
but still there's water in the spout.

Each year pols ask we cut our use
or else the wells run dry.
Each year pols grant more houses built...
our pols dumb logic now apply.
( I say no more, but I abhor,
 the nonsense that I Underscore. )
