The Laureate-Change

Change is, my friend, inflexible,
only fools resist it.
Those who never take a chance
may near kismet but miss it.

Now look back at paths that crossed,
if you took those well tread,
ponder where you'd be today
If you took risks instead.

You may have faced great perils,
but learned from all you met.
And could then forge the tools
to access your kismet.
