Reflect on Yesterday’s Debate
Don’t reflect as blue or red...
or what your parents always said.
Forget the words oft filled with stain...
reflect upon the four-year reign.
Is it but a war yet won,
and peace, in time, for everyone?
Or, do we follow through the maze
repeating our cruel yesterdays?
The debt in four years has surpassed
what all, through time, before amassed.
Our countrymen have suffered so
near half of them are on the dole.
Reflect!
