We used to
fear the mafia…
now we should fear the media.
For they
have mass control o’er minds…
and sway
where fame and fortune winds.
A nod from
them can lift a life;
their scowl
can often bring on strife.
Yet, we condone this fickle force,
if silent on what they endorse.
