Current Events-Tayvon Martin

When a youth dies we all lament,
but should not pent up anger vent.
Justice is blind, that’s its credo,
and very oft deemed way too slow.
It seems the jury in this case
is clearly not with justice chaste.
It’s but a mob, and not of peers,
and most credentials in arrears.
It has become a time to chant…
when truth is known…who will recant?
It’s not the time to vent our spleen
on every act deemed to demean.
It’s time to let the facts present
what had happened…and intent.
I can not say who’s right or wrong,
justice alone will quell the throng.
