Letters in the Paper

I read my neighbors’ words each day.

I need to know what they must say.

The subjects are oft manifold.

I read them if they praise or scold.

I do not care if I concur...

from Red or Blue, what they do stir.

Though oft they don’t agree with me,

some may influence my country.
