New Year’s Eve Toast
I will welcome 2020
but pray the babe that’s new
will be better parented,
and those this year are through.
Who tended babe and planet
made very big mistakes.
They argued all the time,
and now our whole world shakes.
To teach the baby what is right,
let’s practice peace from day of birth,
and let him share the value of
how much Man’s peace is worth.
