Baryons
New Atomic
Particles?
I became a
physicist
in
nineteen hundred and sixty-five.
My peers,
it seems, have atoms stuffed
more than
I thought could ere survive.
I must
believe that which they say...
for should
I try to prove them wrong,
I’d have
to build a CERN beltway...
that’s seventeen
miles long.
