To Raise the Poor

The Prez says we must raise the poor

from the throes of poverty.

With forty percent now on the dole,

we’re taxed to ease their misery.

 To solve their plight, just create jobs

for them... and not illegal tenants

Your promise made six years ago

must govern all your tenets.
