reason infantile.
If
half the people spurn you,
their
votes oft cross the aisle.
All
the promises you make,
in
faith and good intents,
cannot
be done by you alone…
oft
Congress circumvents.
But,
we thank God you ask to try
keep float the Ship of State.
Yet,
know we seek a John Paul Jones
as
sharks accumulate.
