It’s past time that the NRA

prove that those within have sense.

Recognize some make men prey

and havoc they dispense.

Sure, hunt for bear, or elk, or hare

and mount it on your wall,

but you don’t need a Tommy gun

to make the critter fall.

All should own a gun to hunt

and weapon to protect.

But, those who need to arm for war

are soldiers...or suspect.
