Fidelity

Before you make a solemn vow

ensure you can commit.

Once you have pledged to steer the prow

you must press on with grit.

Some tasks may not seem viable,

yet, need but firm resolve.

With rain and wind reliable

a mountain can dissolve.

And all his lies that had been told

Music should all chaos tame.

Harmony should peace maintain.

If music strikes a chord within,

tranquility now fills your brain.

AI {Satori Haiku}

People love Siri,

but scammers now use AI

to con you and fly.

A quiet pond a mirror makes,

reflections true there lay.

A tranquil mind, a mirror too,

where peace and calm array.

A pebble tossed into the pond

will stir and spoil that scene.

A seed of doubt within a thought

can soil that once serene.

Let not the winds of worry,

nor wistful waves of woe,

distort the mirrors echo

that comes from deep your soul.

 

Bully Beware!

Some bullies sneer like Fu Man Chu

and try to fake the role.

Some others will demand their due

with warlike rigmarole.

Little ploys like snarl and bellow

will work if you’re a bear,

but if not within their marrow,

impostors should beware.

For those who find you tiresome

may sense your pantomime,

and guises can be burdensome

once they are past their prime.

Far better that they check their goal

and find a better course...

for tyrants who have played this role

oft end with dire remorse.
