 The Liar

Though truth was stretched the knave was bold,

yet all those lies that had been told

over time did lose their stench

and what was farce is dictum sold.

 

Senryu-Politicians

Politicians lie.

Liars vie to keep their seats...

results bear who cheats.

 Happy Birthday # 82

  Happy Birthday, my precious wife.

  You've filled my world with little  strife.

 Though gas and food have risen high

 on my prized love I can rely.

 May God give you many more years

 and Birthdays love endears.

 The Perps Are Still Killing

It seems as though the Supreme Court

and some Republicans

are telling us guns are last resort...

regardless if we are not fans.

 

But perps can kill us where they choose.

We need the weapons in our hands.

The only way that they can lose

is must reload if rifle jams.

 

The Supreme Court and GOP

best try to face reality.

 

Independence Day

As rockets fill the ev’ning sky,

our flag oft illumed by their  light,

and Sousa’s marches amplify

the pride we feel this night...

give thanks to all who fight and die

to guard our dear birthright.

 

Clean Air Act Sacked

The Supreme Court’s retort

to our Government’s Clean Air Act.

‘Twas  like their Roe/Wade snort

and had the same impact.

Who are these people on the Court?

They seem against what people need.

Name it, and they will abort

everything for which we plead.
