This Holy Day

There is one God...except to few.

Though Babel'd pleas some misconstrue,

I believe He hears all prayers...

including, Muslim, Christian, Jew.

The Laureate-Our Infrastructure

Our infrastructure needs repairs,

the pols have claimed this through the years.

And every new President

attempted to allay our fears,

with promises still unfulfilled,

from a Congress... oft ill-willed.

We’ve had the Blue and now have Red.

If we should build jobs to restore,

the infrastructure we now dread,

we may, within, feel safe once more.

(...and workers will have jobs galore.)
