The Laureate-ISIS

What is your fame? What will most see?
What will you leave your progeny?
You kill and maim, trash history...

The Laureate-To Tend Our Gates

We fight in Afghanistan...
though hard to tell the friend from foe.
We pressure ISIS and Iran
because of where their tactics flow.
Yet, these terrors cross the globe
while perps our borders overflow.
Better that we tend our gates...

Again the Bears are at their play.
The Market dithers at their say.
‘Tis best the rest avoid their toy,
and pray the perps soon Piper pay.

The Laureate-April Fools

April First…a day for play,
when fertile minds with humor stray
and those who fail in mental duels
are mockingly called “April Fools.”

The Laureate-Arizona Vs Wisconsin

It is a shame...a crying shame.
Your foes made threes, odds can't explain!
You played great game,
 'til kismet came
and put an end to your campaign.
